The role of a local muliutility
The Acinque analysis began in 2022, with studies dedicated to the territories of Como, Monza and Brianza, Lecco, Sondrio and Varese, and progressively expanded to measure the Group’s overall contribution at national level.
Acinque generates Shared Value in Italy of €459 million, equivalent to 0.1% of Lombardy’s GDP. The value chain has approximately 86 million euros in gross wages and contributions, with the Group contributing to the generation of 3,395 employees along the supply chain and induced economy: for every Acinque employee, around 3 additional workers are supported in the country. More than half of the Shared Value generated translates directly into resources for the public system and incomes for workers and families.
The Group confirms its role as a territorial multiutility, with essential services in the areas of energy, water, environment, networks and energy transition solutions.
Acinque keep a close relationship with the territories through infrastructure, investments, local services and initiatives for citizens, municipalities, businesses and communities.
