Nestlé Group creates €4.2 billion of Shared Value in Italy, increasing by 5.5% compared to 2020 (€4 billion). The value is equivalent to 0.22% of GDP. The tax contribution generated by the supply chain is €1.5 billion, 0.3% of Italian tax revenues. The Nestlé supply chain creates €1.3 billion in wages and contributions, 0.8% of wages in the manufacturing industry. The value chain employs approximately 62,047 people in Italy (around 12 employees in Italy for every employee of the Group). The 83.6% of employees are concentrated in distribution and sales.
