Waste management companies generated in Italy 27,168 million euros of Shared Value in 2022, thanks to their activities, spending on national suppliers and on energy for industry and for the entire economic system. The estimate does not include expenditure on foreign suppliers. This amount is equivalent to 1.4% of GDP in 2022 and about 7.4% of the value added by industry.
