Sustainable agrivoltaics: towards shared value

April 9th , h 09.00-13.00

Centro Congressi Federico II, via Partenope 36, Napoli – Aula MAGNA

Agrivoltaics is not only a synergic project of agriculture and energy, but it must also be a project of sharing, since it induces transformations of the landscape in which we all participate. It is not only a matter of reconciling energy and food generation on the same unit of land, but of solving in a form that collectively represents the society to which we belong and embodies its values.

Among these: a fair and democratic energy transition, which cannot but imply a profound cultural, scientific and political transformation, in which the concept of “beautiful” is linked to that of “sustainable” and “ethical”.

It is about making clear the benefits that agrivoltaics can bring to communities – much broader than those investigated so far – so that these can be shared and support a new way of looking at both the agrivoltaic project and the landscapes it shapes, in the direction of creating a shared value.

This meeting is an opportunity to show the work that the Italian Sustainable Agrivoltaic Association conducts to support the declination of the positive qualities of agrivoltaics, and to reflect on some words that can direct us towards a vision in which a desirable and shared future is represented, in which beauty, sustainability and ethics find a convergence.
