analyzes current trends in the waste management sector, tracing its evolution since its first edition in 2014 and outlining possible future developments.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Over the years, there has been a gradual convergence between the urban and special waste sectors, while innovation has led to new solutions, attracting players from different industries.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

This trend has been reflected in extraordinary operations, which, between 2023 and 2024, have focused on strategic collaboration aimed at sharing resources and know-how.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

At the same time, the sector has seen a gradual consolidation of operators, while compliance schemes have increasingly become multi-stream and multi-consortium.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

However, some critical issues remain, particularly at the infrastructure level, and new challenges are emerging. Among them is the increasing number of end-of-life photovoltaic panels, which will require adequate processing capacity in the coming years.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The key topics of the report, \u201cWASTE MANAGEMENT: THE COMPLEXITY OF CHANGE\u201d, will be discussed by major industry operators and stakeholders at the traditional Annual Conference.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
